Cheryl Cole turns to crystal therapy?

Pop star Cheryl Cole is reportedly being helped to 'heal' from her US X Factor drama by star astrologer Russell Grant. The 60-year-old is said to have sent three 'healing crystals' to the Promise This singer, which he claims will give her 'protective energy', defend her from 'psychic attack' and 'dissipate nervous energy'. The crystal power expert said that Geordie Cheryl, 27, was in need of help after being 'let down' by music mogul Simon Cowell and axed from the X Factor panel in favour of pop star Nicole Scherzinger. He told British newspaper The Sun: "Cheryl needs this at the moment. I feel sorry for her. I think she has been really let down." A source close to the Girls Aloud star also said that Russell's suggestion of mystical therapy had been backed by her loved ones. The source added: "Cheryl's friends have been really concerned. They told Russell to send her whatever he thought she would need."

Cheryl Cole finally breaks X-Factor silence

Cheryl Cole has finally broken her silence following her shock departure from the US X-Factor. The Girls Aloud singer took to her website to thank fans for their support and to assure them she is enjoying some long-awaited time off. She wrote: "Hi my Gorgeous ones. It's me! I wanted to talk to you all direct, and first and foremost thank you all for your continued love, unbelievable loyalty and support and remind you that I love you all to bits. Where do I start? I have had the weirdest past few weeks (nothing unusual there though.) I wouldn't even know how to begin to tell you all about it. What I do know for certain is that I have the best, most unbelievable people out there, who I feel so lucky to call my support system. You never fail to amaze me. I have been reading your letters and opening my prezzies (I feel very spoilt) and hearing all of your kind, special and inspiring things you want to say to me. "I feel your presence and strength always, and no matter what decision I make or what it is I'm facing, I appreciate you all more than you'll ever know. It also breaks my heart a little when I hear that some of you worry about me and need to know that I am ok, so I want to promise you that I am absolutely fine and more than ok!" The 27-year-old continued: "I have had the time that I have not had in so long to just chill with my loved ones and do the normal things that I like to do. See my friends and family and be with my doggys :D. It feels long overdue and sooooo good, even my feet are happy to not have to wear a pair of high heels hehe. You are my little soldiers and you mean the world to me. Remember what I tell you, stay strong, keep calm and carry on ;) I'll speak to you all soon when I have some new news, until then I salute you :)"

Cheryl Cole 'shares special night with Ashley'

Cheryl Cole reportedly spent a "special night" with ex-husband Ashley Cole before he jetted off on a lads holiday to Las Vegas. Cheryl, 27, is believed to have moved back into their former marital home after being dropped from the US X-Factor, and apparently enjoyed a reunion with the Chelsea footballer at their £5 million mansion in Surrey, England. According to the Daily Express, the pair slept in separate beds at the 12-bedroom property. "They were saying what a special night it was," a source said. "They were mucking about like old times just playing pool, smoking and having a few drinks. There wasn't any awkwardness between the two of them and they seemed very comfortable together. They spent the night together and got on brilliantly. Who knows what will happen when Ashley gets back from his holiday?" The pair divorced last year amid claims Ashley had been unfaithful, but her decision to move back into their old home is said to have been spurred by a need for privacy following the X-Factor fiasco. "Cheryl's life has been turned upside down. She feels very unsettled," the source said. "She's confused about her future and wants some time to hide away and think. She knew Ashley was going away so it made sense to be there."

Rihanna still keen for Cheryl Cole collaboration

Pop superstar Rihanna has reportedly admitted she still really wants to duet with Cheryl Cole despite the singer's recent career setback. The 23-year-old California King Bed hitmaker is apparently making time in her schedule so that she can get together with Cole, 27, in the recording studio. A source told British Look magazine: "Rihanna called Cheryl and told her she is going to call on all her contacts and they should do their planned duet sooner rather than later. "What's more, she reckons Cheryl should face the music and come to stay with her in LA — she is determined to give her the amazing American experience she should have had all along." Geordie Cheryl recently lost her job on the judging panel of the US version of the X Factor.

Louis Walsh says Cheryl Cole is 'sensitive'

Geordie star Cheryl Cole has kept a low profile since she was axed from the US X Factor, but Louis Walsh says he has still been in contact with his former colleague. The 58-year-old claims that singer Cole, 27, was as shocked as anyone about her exit from the talent competition. He told British newspaper the Daily Mail: "I thought it would work for her in America. It wasn't anyone's fault it didn't. It's just a different planet and she's not as tough as people think. She's tough on the outside, but sensitive on the inside." Walsh says he understands why she turned down the offer to become a judge on the UK version of the show. He added: "She didn't take up the offer to come back to the UK panel because she probably didn't want to go backwards." Louis also said Cheryl was in good spirits and that they have been joking with one another via text?message. He said: "On the first day of auditions for The X Factor, I text her, saying: 'They're going to ask me what am I looking for in the contestants this year.' She replied: 'Tell them you're looking for a new Cheryl Cole.' We had a good laugh about that."
